The Blade is a sword whose blade is a jagged shard of pure darkness, speckled with points of light akin to the night sky. Its hilt is a simple, rich wood tethered on by three strips of silvery fabric covered in runes. The fabrics read "Time", "Death", and "Evil", respectively. The Time fabric, which used to touch the blade, has been cut and only remains on the hilt because the other two keep it stuck there. Thus, permanent damage has been done to time. It is unknown if it was proximity to the blade that did it or if it was previously damaged and then became fallible to it, but it was likely both.

The Unforgiving Blade can cut through anything, and no damage it does can ever be repaired. If one so much as nicks oneself with it, they will bleed out. This sword is one of the few ways to destroy a magic item.

It can be assumed that these characteristics also applied to Reverliv once, but it is unclear whether the eclipse blade had additional power when whole.
