When using the Cloak of Eyes to see it, the Ethereal Plane looks like a ghostly after-image of the plane it overlaps. This was first seen in the Plane of Air, as the Triumvirate's existence in the Plane of Dust prevented any contact with the plane's Border Ethereal.
