Steelbell was once a pretty important trade route and well known for its apothecary and alchemical industry, distinct from Earthreach which was more about the discovery and harvesting of those resources, this place is about processing those materials.

The town is divided into four sections, called quarters.

 

Low Quarter

Located in the northwest, it is the slum of town, it always was but has gotten worse with the town’s decay. It is slowly sinking in the mud, buildings being built on top of old ones as those become unlivable. Some black markets exist here.

 

Alchemist Quarter

Located in the northeast, it is the district of scholastics, econom, and leadership. The once fine temples and schools were dismantled for resources. With no regulations, alchemists have been left to their own devices without economy. The smell is not great, and the lake color is wrong. Bad water. Yellow

 

High Quarter

Located in the southeast, it is the seat of local government, former municipal offices, and the center of militia. It is the least populated quarter by a lot.

 

Merchant Quarter

Located in the southwest, it is where the main merchant industry was centered, with lots of warehouses along roads, though most are abandoned and serve as flophouses. Out of all the quarters, this is probably the most welcoming and healthiest, which doesn’t say much.
