• Most people are settling in for the night near the statues, Ullanor went to settle in in the temple and came storming back upset at people for tampering with the shroud over the body, Ullanor went back to the temple to clean things up a bit

  • Dorian sees Ullanor comes back, looks around, goes into the workshop, they ear a bunch of clanging, comes out, does a whole bunch of stuff with random wood things around, he is making a pyre and starts it and low speaking. Ullanor later after the process goes back to the temple
  • Aella is trying to commune with her deity, she tries to sneak away further so people can’t see her physical responses, she goes to the house with the bombs, outside the building but behind it

  • Aster is looking at the wizard spellbook
    • It seems to be a former wizards book, alot of the writing is at first glance indescipherable but it can be understood that they are symbols and runes and inscribed magic
    • The loose pages seem mainly to be personal notes about various things though some seem like they may also be spells, there are roughly 11 unique topics
    • One that was awkwardly shoved in the front which is a map and slight treatise of leylines, they don’t recognize the map
    • Next loose page looks to have been taken from another book and describes another book describing
    • It looks like the main focus of the wizard may be abjuration
    • Next section is on curses, it describes a scenario of a particularly nasty curse, advise against encounters with hags, in our world a sticky note
    • Next one, is distinctly different than the others, seems like a scroll that has been folded over its self a number of times, it has writing on it that is clearly of magical intent, it is clearly a spell scroll of some kind, thoug it is not powerful and probably has something to do with transmutation of some variety
    • Next paper is a snippet of an article about the moral ramifications of charm spells, it was written by an elf though so an interesting perspective
    • Next, another spell scroll, clearly much more involved than the other one, this is not the right time in this lighting to consider what this does because it is a lot more powerful, sometimes thinking too hard about wanting to cast powerful spells can cast them
    • Next, same handwriting as the small note, a conversation on words of power as spells, hypothesizing that theoretically infinite spells like that could exist but perhaps our language lacks what is needed for that
    • Next one is a star chart, it is clearly from a different latitude and longitude than where they are from so new stars
    • Next is a conversation on the origin of magic, specifically the weave theory, it is only like a half paragraph of it, it is clearly torn in half, possibly because the owner of the book disagreed with the author on some points
    • Next is another spell scroll though it is on a think piece of fabric that has been folded up, much more like the first one in power, it seems like abjuration (abjerant)
    • Last one, not a loose piece of paper, it is inscribed on the back cover, it seems like it is an incantation of some kind, it is a spell scroll and its placement and the fact that it isnt a scroll, you can tell its supposed to produce a flame of somekind, perhaps to destroy the book
    • Probably roughly 12 to 18 spells in the books, this person seems to have had a particular gift for abjuration, so there are a number of spells along that track, there is one almost as powerful as the one spells scroll, the other spells seem possibly handleable
    • A couple necromancy, evocation, illusion but mainly abjuration

  • Aster is explaining how they learned magic, with books and things
  • Aster is surprised that Aella has a connection to Sehanine
  • Aella wanted to learn magic because she wanted to be like her mother, all she could do was swing a sword well and get into trouble but nothing ever clicked, it was only during her crash really where she felt anything really magical truly occur, something reached out. Aella assumed it would have been Corellon
  • Aella mentioned that while she was attacking the party, she couldn’t cast much at the end, she says her magic feels different now, she thinks whoever gifted her the powers before, saw that she messed up and gave up on her and someone else picked her up and is continuing to trust her, all she knows is that the old deity gave up the mantle and gave up Aella and now she still has magic but it feels different

  • Aella thinks that the death of Perras is the start of her not feeling able to protect others
