Quill has left the group at the horns to speak with Lya, who has already gone ahead to spread the word of a second ship. They meet at the wreckage and Quill informs Lya of Meph's desire to stay with her. Lya does not know how to choose where to go. Quill then talks to Vasalor, who says he will not force him to join him but would like it if he did. Quill then walks to Mist's body in the grass, where he finds a circle of butterflies and braided grass around her. The butterflies take the shape of flowers. Quill picks one "flower" up and places it on Mist's nose. Back at the horns, Aella ponders how to keep the group together. Aster counters that they should not stop Quill if he decides to leave, and instead asks Aella what she wants, saying they will go wherever she does. Aella chooses to stay. Maeve and Meph are both undecided; they need to speak with certain other people first, but the Magi does not allow that.

• Starting with Lyandra, she is crossing the plains from Otwangro to what remains of the Armide
  • Her missions as stated is spread the gospel of boat, a second boat is available
  • The journey is rather uneventful, she comes to the wreckage of the armide, it is both neater and more cluttered, everything that has been deemed not good enough to bring with has been scattered, people have started carving out areas to sleep if they are planning to stay
  • She is approaching the first person she sees, determined by a roll
  • Lucky number 13, Tila
  • She approaches the ship and spots Tila up on the wreckage of the ship tossing things down to be used, she wants to try to scale the ship but while she is distracted looking for ways to get up, a plank of wood comes flying towards her, she side steps it and calls Tilas name
    • They ask if Lya wants to join them, Lya says they found another ship if they would prefer that, they ask how big it is then 
    • “catch”-Tila, “where is pookie clares”-Lya (out of character, didn't hear "catch"), Lya catches a frame of what was once a window, Tila calls them cool
  • Lya looks for Clares
    • Clares is off towards the east side of the ship, partly looking out into the distance, partly collaring a shirt
    • Lya approaches him and tells him guess what, he guesses everyone is out of jail, Lya pauses and says that we have another boat, he says that is good, he is glad no one will get stuck here
  • She heads to Arcys, ae and some other people are setting up camp a little ways away, there is also Syliza and Henum and DD
  • Henum asks when it is leaving, hehe, Lya doesn't know when, Lya says its from the Magi, Slyza says they aren't sure we can trust them either, they ask if everyone is ok, Lya responds that we have a boat and everyone is alive, Maeve is a little weird but she is alive
    • DD mentions there are still a bunch of people in jail, Lya explains that it will happen after people are done with jail, 
• Quill has arrived on the outskirts of the crash zone, he goes to Tila, he asks if they have seen Tila, they say yes and that they caught wood, they ask if they he wants wood and then throws wood towards Quill, he side steps
  • Quill heads over to Clares who Tila had pointed in his direction
• Back to Lya, she walks back to Clares and runs into Quill who was just asking if he had seen Lya
  • Quill asks why she is back here, she said that she is telling everyone about the boat
  • Quill mentions he talked with the group in the horns, he said that they want to stay and go on the new boat, Meph wanted Lya to know that Lya is what she is making her decision on
    • Lya says that is silly, she doesn’t know how she is making this decision and she doesn’t care, Quill says that if she does, they are waiting out there
  • Quill says that it seems everyone is staying until they can leave without Vasalor, there was some indecision but one strong head
  • Clares asks if either of them are staying, Lya doesn’t know and Quill says all he knows is he needs to get home and the longer he waits, the worse it will all be, Clares excuses himself and goes back the way Lyandra came
• Quill asks Lya what happened to her and also about the laughing
  • Lya says its kind of hard to explain, she talks about the room that noone could get into, DD threw her hammer and there was a hole and Lya made it in, it was weird in there, a demon in a crystal with a tap, she took some of the tap liquid and then she really wanted to pour the sconce above the door so she did that then was confused why she wanted to do that and then the fire ate her arm and everything was funny after that, she starts laughing again
  • Quill is confused, Lya explains some of the other things in the room too
  • Lya asks if Quill is ok, he says he doesn’t know
  • He leaves Lya to it to spread the word and then walks to Vasalor
• Lya goes and finds Marem Grenn and Calwyn, they have seemingly just hauled crates
• Quill goes to the office, it is startlingly empty, it looks like just a place the the wood didn't collapse, he walks in anyway and looks around
  • There is Corazidue

  • There is a line fo dust behind where a bookshelf once stood and a lighter area where his banner and some other objects had been, almost the ghost of his presence in this space
  • Quill turns and leaves, as he leaves, he sees him, hes pretty sure, standing a good distance away to the south, Quill starts meandering on over
  • Once he gets to a socially normal distance to start talking, he calls to Vasalor who is staring towards the ship, he acknowledges Quills presence but is watching the ship, Quill looks back, he sees the one mast and the shadow it is casting across the plains, it is currently towards Vasalor, not as far as he is standing and not directly south but towards his direction, in his left hand he has a weird scaly orb, it is brown, and Coraz is also present
  • Quill asks if he is waiting for something, he is, he gave a time limit and is watching the clock, he says he will not sway their judgements, Quill says he doesnt think Vasalor could sway their choice
  • Quill asks if he has any idea of how many are going to stay out of the ones here, he says no then says it is not entirely true but it is of no matter, he says he would go alone but he would prefer not to
  • Quill says as expected, they all want him to come with them, he says he isn’t sure its the fastest way to get Mist home, Vasalor agrees, Quill assumes the other option is to go with him, Vasalor says that Quill knows that when he speaks, he stands by it, he is going to get a shard of the crux or fail trying, he says he would like for Quill to join him but he understands that their relationship is just as tenuous as it is long, he mentions he could pull strings and get Quill to come with him but it is Quill choice
  • Quill says he doesn’t know what is best, he asks if home for Quill and home for Vasalor is the same in essence, Vasalor says not remotely but they are accomplished the same way and are not mutually exclusive, correction, they can be mutually exclusive
  • “What purpose would I have barring you from your ends”-Vasalor
  • Vasalor says he will try to accomplish getting Mist home like Quill said he wants
  • Quill asks why the Magi is here
    • Vasalor says he can only guess and will not be doing so at this moment
    • Quill says he will debrief Vasalor if he does come along
  • Vasalor says that if he does not come along, he expects the two will not see each other for a good long while and Vasalor says he will not unduly pull any of those strings
  • Quill asks what his time limit is, Vasalor says he issued a vigil and Quill has made it back with time to spare and asks if any of them are going to come with, Quill explains they want to stay together, Vasalor says then that 
  • Quill sees it only fair that the group sees what they are getting themselves into and getting themselves out of
  • There is a mage hand in space in front of Quill, it ignites in fire then dims but still glows, Vasalor asks if he wishes to return now, Quill wants to leave with Lya
  • Quill mentions that Vasalor said that the room Lya broke into was personal, he does not want to shed any light on that
  • Quill goes to leave for Lya but Vasalor calls to him to make haste
• Clares comes over to the group of Arycis and DD and Henum and pulls Arycis aside to talk to aer
• DD is trying to make what is left into a better camp, helping move the old camp so it won’t be an issue when the new ship is summoned and takes off
  • The camp is started not finished
  • She sees Quill as he walks away from Vasalor
• Back to Lya, Marem and Calwyn
  • Lya tells them there is another boat if they want to leave but don;t like this boat, the Magi is giving us another boat eventually
  • Lya explains that it was told to her and wanted to tell everyone else so they knew, Marem appreciates it
  • Marem asks if thats it, wait for another boat to show up, Lya explains they are in jail kind of but maybe they will do community service then after that new boat
  • “However long it takes for you to pull you act together”-Marem
  • Marem asks if Meph is ok, Lya tells him that she is a convicted arsonist now, Marem says that if she sees Meph to tell her that she is important to, Lya says she will and that she had told Meph that too, he said that he wish he had
  • Lya walks off, Quill heard some of that and walks to Lya, she says she has a few more people to talk to and Quill tells her he has a way to get back to the jail, she explains she has 4 more people talk to
• She walks over to Kaviah, Gog and the light blue skinned one(the statue we unstatued) is also there
  • She walks over and Kaviah is askin how ships work and if its rocks but she couldnt figure out how that would work, Lya says that there is another boat though, Kaviah asks how that works, Lya says she doesn’t know but that the Magi is giving it to us, the dwarf guy gives Lya a look of help me, Lya says she is going to walk away and then walks away
• Quill goes to check on his “little body in the grss”
• Lya goes to Wyearka
• Yaro followed Lya, he meets up with another member of the lamdulgon briefly then is there around when Lya is speaking with Wearka
• Back to Maeve after a long pause because of that crazy conversation
  • She goes back to thinking about the Magi’s cloak and how it was ripped and how that was interesting
  • She asks them is they teared their cloak or not, the respond, neither and both, they say they will explain it another time
  • While Maeve is marinating in her confusion, Aster says they have a question that may help us come to a decision
  • They ask what the reason was for Vasalors removal, they say he wasn’t removed, and that he left, perhaps not solely of his volition but it was his choice, ae ask for more details, Magi explain that they met before he left
    • There is surprisingly emotion here, in a way ae havent really heard from the magi, longing perhaps but aslo maybe fear, or excitement, the Magi is almost always almost toneless but that there is something stands out, ae do not know what was not said
    • Ae push again for them to share what they know with us, they dont see the value in spreading that information
• Back to Quill
  • He knows exactly where he left the body and he finds it right where he left it but not undisturbed, he is instantly in a different headspace, he looks for instances of grass being disturbed with sets of footprints and such, it seems one set was here that came from around the direction of the stern
    • He follows to Mist in the same disturbance path and he moves stealthily
    • He thinks he passes silently and unseen
    • He sees up ahead where he knows the body to lay, for a moment in the grass a flash of red, “who goes there”-Quill, there is no response but the shifting of the grass itself
    • He walks more towards it, he hears nothing further but the wind, the distant sounds of the reavers, his own heartbeat and his own breath
    • He realizes he didn't necessarily see movement but something through the grass
    • He draws his bow and walks forward to where Mist would be, as he gets close, he keeps seeing more flashes of red between the grass and a bit of yellow, then he gets so close he cant quite see through the grass but something flashes in front of him then flies towards him, black, slightly blue
      • He drops immediately prone and whatever it is passes above silently
      • He thinks it is long gone in the grass behind him or something else
    • He disregard it and rush forward to Mist
    • The area immediately around her has been trampled flat by someone seemingly walking in a circle and the grass beyond that are braided with yellow and red twine, a group of butterflies have alighted in her, as he gets close, they fly away then land on her again, the butterflies are ranging from 2 ins to a handin size
    • She lies there, obscured by their wings, still even through the fabric bent at wrong angles but perhaps even despite the circumstances, it definitely elicits an emotion
    • Quill puts the bow down and unhooks the quiver and his cloak, he kneels down to the butterflies which take off and settle on the grass surrounding, when they start to fly away, he freezes then when they settle and he starts moving again, they eventually return after he is still for a while
    • First thing, he looks at what they have been doing if not just chilling, when they land, they seem to group up in a way, it is not an even coating, they group in sets matching their wing patterns and slowly each group forms into a shape that resembles a bloomed flower, each of different flowers and designs, a odd bouquet laid at the memorial of Mist
    • Quill lays down on the peripheral to watch the butterflies to move, one set of orange and yellow dotted land roughly on his chest and start trying to do their dance and Quill allows it
    • With his staying there, he casts speak with animals and it fails
    • Cupped in his chest is a shape that looks like a marigold, he takes it and slowly moves it towards Mist and places it right where her nose would be
    • The woven colored grass around the scene continues to sway in the breeze, he lets himself fully relax and look at the sky, he lets out a sigh and says “we’re going home, one way or another” he waits
• Wearka time!!
  • Lya find Wearka in the shadow of the ship, leaning against the wreckage
  • “Oh hello, long time no words”-W Lya looks confused then tells her there is another boat, she asks where, Lya says in an amount of time, not now, W asks how she is doing, Lya says good other than the obvious and asks how she is doing, W says she is not alright, Lya asks if she can help, W says she is helping now
  • W asks what she thinks regarding Vasalor, Lya says that she doesn’t really care about Vasalor but is focused on her friends who when they get out of jail, the boat will exist, Lya says she hopes they do better and leaves to find Taltholetoth
  • Taltholetoth Gelvrever and the other Hobgoblin have one of the tables with no leg with parchment on it drawing out something, it is battleplans
  • There are multiple pieces of parchment scattered and there is a lot of writing, seems like they were trying to get people out of jail but it wasn’t really working and now its just a big mess
  • Lya says there is another boat we can take but can only take it after people get out of jail, the group misinterprets and say then need some time but then they will head over and get the people out of jail and then we can get a boat, Lya explains that there is community service so that isn’t needed
• Yaro is going to attempt to find Vasalor to see how to get the people out of the jail
• Lya goes over to the Harbormaster, she is in the crash trail of the ship, watching the town, Lya walks right up and tells her that there will be another ship eventually if she wants to leave here but doesn’t want to go with Vasalor for whatever reason, she says that is good to know, she asks if it is airworthy, Lya says the magi says it will fly, she trusts the Magi, Harbormaster asks when we leave, Lya is confused, in an amount of time, she takes it as a larger amount of time
  • Lya told the harbormaster what happened
  • DD comes over when the when to leave question comes up and explains after people are out of jail which might be a while, Harbormaster says they should hope so and that it would be good to get comfortable in town
  • The harbormaster asks if there is any word from the emissary
  • Lya leaves to find Quill
  • Harbormaster asks DD what her plan is, she says it's mostly just trying to figure out how to live here for a while, there are significant differences from Mistfall, Harbormaster misses the smell of the river, which is saying something, she said she only went there a few times herself
  • DD hopes the weather doesn't get worse, Aella apparently has the mindset to get the reins on controlling things so says the harbormaster
  • Harbormaster asks who the transparent one is and if she is DD's sister, DD responds that she thinks she is kind of like DD but not her, she doesn’t think anyone really knows, she just kind of appeared a bit after I picked up this in the whole sky shattering quest, the Harbormaster is surprised she still has one, she thought they all vanished
  • Harbormaster asks if DD would be willing to show her sometime, DD says sure, it could be good to get some answers, Harbormaster has seen a lot of strange stuff in her time
  • She asks if DD trusts herself to wield it, DD says not really, she responds good and to keep it that way
  • Back home in her office, she had a clamp that help it that let her lay down the burden for a while and that the emissary watched when she couldn’t, she says maybe when we get somewhere more stable we can put something together again
  • DD asks if that is something we should be thinking about for here, Harbormaster says it is her burden to bear and it is nothing to worry about
  • Harbormaster does her best to salute DD, it's not the right salute but its close, DD is a bit confused, Harbormaster apologizes and says she won't do it again
• Yaro and Vasalor
  • He retraces the steps of Quill and head to between the center of the lamdulgon culture and the skybasket, watching the sun
  • They greet each other, Yaro is confused at him, his people are divided and yet here he is and asks what he is doing, Vasalor says he is giving them the space to make their choices and that they will find their path and that he knows his
  • Yaro asks if his path tends toward upholding his agreements with Yaro’s people, it does, the shard of the crux, or paragon of air as you call it is his goal, he says that Yaro is free to join him on the quest but that he does not make decisions for him, at least until we are underway
  • Yaro did not believe that he sought to possess what is eternal, Vasalor says is cannot be possessed, he simply hopes to reach it, Yaro asks how he can do so when his flock is divided and some are imprisoned, will he not set free his people, Vasalor said last he heard they have made themselves free or at least altered their situation
  • Vasalor apologies that Yaro arrived at a moment of discourse and strife
  • Yaro doesn’t know what to do, he must stand by his elders but how is he to do that if Vasalor doesn’t stand by his own people, Vasalor suggests he might confer with Elder Fendream
• Back to the horns
  • After the silence, Aella clears her throat really loud, she feels sad letting Quill leave without us, when we are all together, we accomplish things we couldn’t alone
  • Aster laments the potential loss of the cat but says if they were to stop him they would be not only a fool but a hypocrite
  • Aster asks where Aella wants to go and says ae will follow whatever that is, Aella doesn’t know what we are supposed to do, she thinks she would like to stay here and get our own ship, so will Aster
  • Aella wants to get out of this room, Ashaksell says that once all of us have decided, they will let the horns know that they have made their decision
  • The Magi ask Aella if she is going to stand for her crimes, she says she will, they turn to Aster and ask aer the same, ae respond ae will do so as well, they ask Maeve, she does not have a full opinion without talking to people
  • Magi cannot let Maeve talk to people outside of the room, they ask Maeve again what her choice is, she says she can’t make one, they ask Meph, she is in the same boat as Maeve and can’t decide
