• Lya, Maeve and Aella are still in the orb room, Quill and Meph followed Dorian
• Aella is currently still on her knees staring blankly facing where the orb was, her head is down, she is not sobbing anymore
  • She can tell people left so she thinks she is alone right now
  • Maeve is Maeving over to Aella
  • Maeve is chewing Aella out
    • “A spell caster needs to be able to see to cast their spells”-Maeve
    • “I have workin’ eyes” -Maeve
  • ~teamwork~
  • Lya asks Aella if she is ok
    • “My partner is dead and I don’t know when I’ll get to hear their voice again”-Aella
    • She took the mantle from her gods because she wanted to protect those she cared about but when it mattered she was down and couldn’t help
    • She thinks she should have been there but she couldnt
    • This is her atonement
      • Maeve says no its not she did that to herself
    • Aella does not regret her actions or what happened
      • Aella thinks it sounds like Maeve only cares if she makes it out
• A light flares from the doorway and a chime is heard
• Meph reaches for the orb but both Dorian and Meph have hold on the orb
  • The rest of the party is in the room now
  • Dorian says that they need to talk about it 
  • Meph starts shaking and breathing heavily and she walks off saying that if they are going to talk about it, she is going to leave
  • Meph goes back into the room before the boss room
    • Mariana follows behind
  • Meph sits in a corner shaking and sobbing
• Maeve tells Aster that their “idiot girlfriend is sulking in the other room”
• Aster goes into the other room where Aella and Lya are
  • They share a touching moment
  • Aster kissed Aella’s left eye and it can see now, it has returned to what her original eye color was
  • Lya: "I am so sorry to interrupt"
  • A red glow comes off of Lya and her hair turns orange and she turns red or orange
    • Autumn Lya!!!
    • “And now I’m rorange”
  • Lya runs over to the other room and tells everyone that Aella can see again
• Meph sobbing in the corner in the other room
  • Mariana shape waters the tears off her cheeks, sits down in front of her
    • Meph is On Guard with syringe, Lya walks in on that
    • We gotta figure out what it is and what happens when used before we use it to solve our problems
    • Meph has been trying for almost 10 years to [inaudible]
      • Lya: aella can see again
      • Mariana: she couldnt before?
    • “Im here because i heard you were crying in a corner… why”
    • Meph has mommy issues, dead mommy issues
    • “Who is mother” “I think it’s one of Meph’s friends”
  • Maeve is wondering what the price of such powerful magic is
    • Experiment on little things? How many charges?
• Dorian is in a corner running internal diagnostics
  • Nothing permanently damaged other than outer shell
  • Nothing seems out of the ordinary magically
• The people that went out by Meph have walked back to the boss room
• Lya knocks on the orb room door and asks Aster for the pearl because Maeve is going to identify the orb
• Dorian hands over the orb very reluctantly and says he expects it to be returned
• Maeve identifies the orb
  • There is a glow in her eyes, she looks through the pearl at the orb
  • She Is Taking Radiant Damage
  • Feels like holding a campfire
  • Oh no more radiant damage (less active burning but more power radiating through her) (also it feels like it’s asking a question)
  • Pearl growing hot, orb getting brighter
  • She stops after 18s
• Snorb feels different; the power is the same but uncertain about whether a truth spoken will be true
  • “You know how a drug dealer will give you the first one free” -Dorian
  • Vasalor is Not getting it
  • Don't attune to it or use it
• Quill is asking why we dont just use the orb to get home
  • There is a cost for things like changing planes
• Some thugs broke Dorians knees
• Lya interrupts again to tell them that we need to have a group conversation
• Aella is holding on to Aster, Aster is on her right side, Aella’s working eye is the left one
• Lya is leading the two back 
  • “Aster kissed my left eye and it worked again”-Aella
• We are lying (sort of) to vasalor that this thing is harmful to organic life
• We’re giving the squid the finger in exchange for knowledge that is somehow more powerful
• Its been 4 vigils
• We are Going
  • Banter while we walk
• Our statues are still there, they do not move though
• We have made it back to the area with the three doors
  • Quill is peeking in the friends door
    • The first thing he sees is a room that is relatively small, along the walls are depictions of some the nonserpentine people we saw in some of the processions
    • You walk in there is a small staircase in the center
• The doors are open, the ones on either end, and the snatues are there and are on their podiums, they have their arms
• Lya, Meph, Mariana, and Dorian are walking into the statue room
  • Meph is readying a flashbang
  • Lya is readying hide behind a pillar and cast minor illusion to make it look like she is holding the orb
  • Mariana cast after image
  • Dorian 
  • Meph walks in, the door on the otherside closes, we could hear a whirring in the statues
  • Quill also moves in slightly
    • Holds arm out that has the bracer and says we are friends, the whirring stops and the doors open
• The only thing of note in the way off in the elemental room: big blue in fetal position
  • Through their blue vaporous form, we can see that they are crouched on top of a skeleton of their scale trapped under the rubble
  • Quill designates them as their slayers prey
  • The pieces of small rubble that have been moved seem to have already been moved
  • An entirely collapsed section that seems to have already been dug at from this side
  • “Beaurocracize”
  • Quill is upset at Big Blue for killing Mist, Meph asked what happened last time and Quill said it doesn’t matter and moves on to the next room
  • Mariana walks up to Big Blue, she says hello, she hears labored breathing and under the breath whimpers
  • Mariana asks if they know of any way to help with the bricks, Big Blue says it wouldn’t change anything
  • Aella walks up as well, 
  • Big Blue says the monster is free, “It falls to me again, I made the wrong call”-Big Blue
  • “Dómnaðr rewards those who help”
  • Meph asks a question and he Does Not Like It (wis save)
  • Most people have left the big blue room
  • Lya is asking Dorian to allow her to attune to the orb so that she can let Big Blue’s spirit be put to rest
    • Dorian allows her
    • Lya asks their name

  • Our vehicles are sealed in
    • There is a sarcophagus in the room but it does not have Maeve’s story on it
    • The ceiling there are the four symbols of the elemental surrounding the orb,  the same symbol that is on Quills bracer, this is the only time where we see there is a seam in the room. 
    • The wave symbol is above where Maeve’s tomb is
  • Quill is released, Maeve is on the floor stable but at 0 hit points 
• We are long resting + 2 vigils for Maeve* (we all get up at dawn)

• 1st vigil
  •  Lya wrote a will
    • If I die, it’s not Dorian’s fault <3. Meph gets Weiss, don’t hurt him </3.
  • Lya is attuning to the orb 
    • She sits in the corner with her back to everyone so if it goes all light everyone doesn’t get bright lighted
    • Dorian is sat sort of next to Lya keepin an eye on her
    • Lya is pouring intention into it and as she sits there, it starts to sit heavy in her hand and there is a weight on her back(strength)
    • Dorian plays his lullaby while Lya attunes
    • For 15 minutes, Lya bears the weight of what feels like the sky on her back and then it releases
    • Then pinpricks set in everywhere(dex)
      • Weathered for another while until they release
    • The orb grows searingly hot and so does her skin(con)
      • Fail, 12 fire damage, Lya is down but stable (nonlethal damage)
    • Dorian was watching this, Lya was shaking and dealing with this for a while
  • Dorian spends the next two vigils alone, he plays his lullaby for the party still
  • Dorian hears a lot of stuff outside, the floor tremors quite a bit, it reminds them of standing above the gem creature
  • Dorian is oozing
• We end before 3rd vigil
