  • Sits next to doorway + observes, asks why hes stuck here

    • We would be stuck “only if [we] failed as [he] did”
    • He made a mistake that [???] everyone else he knew
    • He carries their burden (aka they moved on)
    • Quill makes it clear that his friends’ help does not reflect his feelings

  • Before Meph wakes Mariana up shes gonna do a goofy and stab her with a syringe
    • Sleight of hand roll: nat 1. Dorian notices and does nothing
    • Also its truth serum
  • Mariana wakes up to being stabbed in the back of the arm (like where you get a flu shot)
    • She jolts up and grabs Meph’s arm
    • DD also wakes up because Dorian
    • Shenanigans ensue. Mariana knows it’s truth serum.
  • Odd noises through stone but nothing too odd; rumbling underneath, faint wind, very far off rhythmic beat (either nearby footsteps or far off drums)
  • Meph wants information on what Mariana desires, since she told her the same
    • “I’m after something quite similar to you actually”
    • She wants to know what happened to her mom
  • DD asks what happened with Maeve
    • Mariana: I assume my sister did something stupid
      • She doesn’t know any more, wasn’t there
    • Dorian doesn’t know either, something tells him Maeve reacted not delicately to the situation regarding the orb
      • Thinks she’s not a great match to our group but doesn’t dislike her
      • She’s not one to make alliances

  • Crab pushing into wall, it works, as slab falls a hole opens up on roof, sand spills in
  • Astraea’s winter blanket shields against the sand trickle
  • Lya looks at box, it’s the same with Maeve’s story again
    • But there were watches that weren’t run where box was still different so yeah
    • Dorian looked at the box
  • Lya short rests while Maeve sleeps
    • She does not have to eat or drink anymore
• Maeve wakes up
  • “You got moved” - Aella
  • We r waiting 4 vigils until things reset enough
    • Meanwhile we’re trying to convince Maeve to cast remove curse on big blue
    • More back and forth about the snorb
    • Lya will not leave until big blue is put to rest
    • Maeve wants to find out why she woke up here

      • He doesn't know but she reminds him of someone: one of the Sarrukh [snake people] who I did not see as an enemy
        • Gestures at one of the sneletons in the room

      • Big blue knows Lya isn’t from and asks how she got here “Pretty much I was at my home and they were like ‘you committed a crime’ and then I walked here”
